Kinergy
Kinergy accepted it's first clients in 1996 and is confidently looking forward to celebrating it's 20th Anniversary in 7 years time!
The Charity was set up by a group of individuals who realised the need for a counselling service for survivors of sexual abuse and rape in the area.
Kinergy is a registered charity and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy [BACP]. We are bound by their code of ethics and practice and subject to its complaints procedure.
We operate from premises on the Kingswood Foundation site and have three part time employees who are responsibe for day to day operations. The long term strategy for the Charity is determined by the Board of Trustees in consultation with the Manager. In addition to our individual client work, we also work in partnership with Ashfield, Horfield, Leyhill and Eastwood Park Prisons providing a valuable service within those prisons.
