The group is single-gender and is open to anyone who identifies as female. Before joining a group, we ask that you have had 1 to 1 counselling previously, although this does not have to have been with our agency.

Groups usually have been six to ten people and two facilitators.

The groups last for an hour and a half. The group runs for 12 consecutive weeks (not including service closures).

Kinergy has currently paused new referrals due to an increase of over 72% in new referrals over the pandemic. We are working hard to reduce our current waiting list and will resume once we reach a 6 month waiting list.

The facilitators will help group members share their stories in a supportive environment, as well as providing tools to improve members' resilience by giving them coping strategies for the future.
